We are located in the heart of the CBD and we do get street noise despite the sound proofing on our building. I do apologise this caused a restless night but please reach out if you stay with us again and I'll arrange for a higher floor for you.

Exceeded our expectations. What fabulous location overlooking Auckland harbour front.
The welcome, service and ambience was great, the bar, Boda restaurant and our amazing suite overlooking the harbour was great.
We will definitely stay again at his Accor Hotel.

Pros….
Really comfy beds and a great nights sleep.
Great smelling toiletries (although conditioner was empty and never replenished)
Great location for ferries, bars, restaurants and shopping.
Good air con
Decent sizes rooms.
Room service breakfast great

Cons……
Appalling check in staff
Noisy rooms… walls appear to be paper thin so lots of street noise and noise from hotel corridors.
We had 2 rooms for 3 nights, one of which was never cleaned and no replenishment of towels or tea/coffee (but available from reception)
No water bottles, which is fine, but sink taps only seemed to run lukewarm or hot water so not great for drinking,
Staff in the bar/restaurant completely ignored us on the 2 occasions we went upstairs…. We gave up and went elsewhere,
Loud music playing constantly in bar and lobby so you couldn’t hear ant conversations…… why have pop music playing at all in that environment.

Would I go back, not a chance !

Thank you for your review.

I'm really concerned about the comments around our team and I can assure you this isn't the norm and I will be speaking to the Department managers to see why our team is not providing the service that we are accustomed too.

Sad to hear you don't wont to stay with us again however please contact me directly should you ever change your mind.

Good location. Easy walk to all parts of the CBD. Well appointed room. Great bed and good blockout blinds. Really good AC. Good restaurant too. Chocolate hour wasn't promoted but was nice in the afternoon. Would have been nice if the chocolate hour included tea or coffee?

Only negative was demolition noise from an adjacent worksite early every morning.

Room tip: Go for a high floor room that overlooks the harbour.

Thank you for your review.

Happy to hear you enjoyed our room and chocolate hour.

I do apologise about the demolition noise and I have made an enquiry to find out why we were not informed but hopefully the new space they create will be great for the area.

Movenpick hotel in Auckland is located strategically. On one side it has the warf and on the other side whole lot of eateries and high end shops. So very convenient. The breakfast is good. But what really troubled us was, that the rooms were not cleaned every day even though we stayed there six nights and had two rooms. Every day it was a struggle . Hartono Halim from the front office was really kind and helpful so it was good to have clean rooms.

Thank you for your review.

Great to hear you loved our location, we are very lucky to be right in the heart of the CBD.

I do apologise for the housekeeping team and I can assure you this is not our standard and will be speaking to the housekeeping team.

I shall also pass on your praised to Hartono, he is a great asset to the Movenpick Auckland team.
