The main shopping precinct by the Viaduct Harbour and Auckland's waterfront region. It is a paradise for shopping and it has cafes and restaurants galore. It is essential to walk around the area.

This street has from your very expensive to your average price shopping. Easy walking. My advice is don't forget to have a look down some of the wee side streets that run off it. Lots of car parking around but it can be expensive.

Queen Street is one of the busiest place in Auckland. You can find here almost everything that you need, from local to international shops. Bus stops and train station is also accessible within the area so it is easy to commute.

Auckland is New Zealand's most populous city, and Queen St is the main commercial thoroughfare. Queen St starts at Queen's Wharf, near the ferry terminal and goes uphill for around 3 kms (almost 2 miles). It's an interesting walk, we did it several times from top to bottom. Queen St has some interesting shops, we bought a marvellous lapis lazuli necklace from a prominent jeweller in Queens St. This is one of the most spectacular streets that I have ever traversed.
