Lovely room and super friendly staff at reception, bathroom was nice and clean. Perfect place to stay if you have an event at Spark Stadium, so super close and really nice hotel. Very walkable to the city, waterfront and Britomart and just super convenient

Central location easy flat walk to Britomart & onto the Viaduct. Great value for money with lots of options of car parking nearby in Anza Ave.
I stayed in a spacious studio room which was clean & excellent quality. A little bit of rood noise but expected for the area.

Room tip: Wilson parking on corner of Anzac Ave - easy walk to hotel. Or Wilson parking building further up Anzac Ave.

This is a Rooms only Hotel, no Restaurants/Bars/Coffee Bars. But that's fine because there are lots nearby. Clean, friendly staff. Close to Britomart Travel Center/ferries. The Table, an Indian Restaurant opens early for Coffee/breakfast. (Turn left when you walk out the hotel door) 100 yards or so.

Room tip: To avoid sitting in Reception for 4 or 5 hours let them know you need an early check in. They don't have staff to service rooms early in the morning to speed things up.

This is the third time that I’ve stayed here at Beach Road. The location is central to the CBD and it’s easy to navigate for access to either the north shore or to Ponsonby, Grey Lynne and surrounding areas.

The rooms are spacious with smart tvs, a safe, as well as a desk if you need to do some work.
Parking isn’t offered as part of a package however you can park close by either on the street near Anzac Ave or a nearby Wilson’s car park.
Staff are professional and courteous and always willing to offer assistance when required.

Room tip: If you are arriving after 10pm there is only a concierge on duty who is there to literally hand you a key to your room.

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. The rooms were clean, modern and quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfy and we felt well rested in the morning. The rooms are quite large as well with a couple of chairs, a desk area and a good sized wardrobe to hang shirts and coats in. There was no view from our window but it stayed very dark which was nice for sleeping.

We appreciated that the room we booked had a smart TV that we could connect to easily and watch the Lord of the Rings. We also appreciated that there was a microwave, small fridge and some kitchen items including a cutting board. The shower was huge with great pressure and the bath products contained coconut oil and smelled great. We also liked using the kettle to make coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Only complaint we would have for the room is that the pipes were noisy when the faucet valve was opened a little bit and the glass shower door scrapped against the glass enclosure of the shower.

There isn't much near the hotel but walking 10 minutes in any direction we could find something to do or eat. At check-in they gave us a list of recommended restaurants nearby but we found out the hard way that some kitchens close early in Auckland.

We lucked out and got some World Cup Tickets on our last day in Auckland and were pleasantly surprised that the nearby Britomart Station offered free transport to Eden Park for ticket holders and this is normal for big events in Auckland. We were about a five minute walk from the station and that turned out to be really great. Getting to the airport/to this hotel from the airport is a little time consuming so we elected to use Uber.

We appreciated the staff storing our bags for the day after we had checked out and everyone we encountered was kind and friendly.
