Viaduct Harbour location, with a view if you take a window seat in the bar area. Cocktails were fantastic as was the food. We were recommended their signature dish with was a prawn toast with wagyu, what a great dish, one not to be missed!

We had an incredible experience at Hello Beasty - the service was fantastic and the food was sensational. The broccoli in particular was a highlight (we ordered extra), along with the fried cauliflower. Drinks were fun and inventive as well as being tasty. The restaurant also had a great atmosphere on the Saturday night we visited.

This meal was a real highlight of our whole NZ trip.

Only small gripe is as a fan of a chefs table/kitchen table/counter seat, we would have loved some interaction from the chefs. We asked questions and got helpful and friendly replies, but would still have loved some more interaction.

Always such a great time at Hello Beasty! We went there for my birthday lunch & ordered a few plates to share. Tare charred eggplant, NZ waygu beef shitake black pepper dumplings, crispy salt pepper pork belly gua bao, crispy soft shell crab, prawn crab toast (must get!!l), wild caught Australian tiger prawns (another must get) & the charred brocolini 😋 for dessert you must try the kkwabaegi ... it's to die for.

What a place. Menu was difficult inasmuch as you wanted to have everything and so we did over indulge.

Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Fried chicken was crispy and succulent. Even the cauliflower rocked. And the main dish lamb curry blew our socks off.

Great service. Good win. Buzzing atmosphere.
