Hellp Beasty is my destination of choice. But my niece and I took a risk taking my two geriatric male cousins here. Both hate spicy food, sharing plates, and one only ate peas and no seafood.

I'm pleased to report, both ate cauliflower, broccoli, sashimi, cauliflower, edamame, dumplings and much more.

Get outside your comfort zone tourists and try something new :-)

Food and service was five stars special mention to Georgia our hostess and Thomas not our server but staff.
Food was delicious, interesting and a little bit different in a wonderful way. We had the potstickers omg yummy and the crab and prawn toast with a superior filet bit on top.
We got to Auckland the day after the cyclone was over. I made a reservation for the day before but didn’t make it as I was coming from Canada.
Don’t miss this place, nice views of the wharf, but the food and service were the stars.

This place is one of a plethora of fusion restaurants in Auckland and it certainly delivers on the promise. The KFC Korean Fried Cauliflower and the Lamb Shoulder are standouts. Very busy place and had to wait an hour to get a table but it was well worth it.

My wife and I went to Hello Beasty as a result of great reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. The lady on front desk from Chester was good enough to search us out next door where we were drinking to advise us that someone had just cancelled and hence there was a table for us. Above and beyond. Good atmosphere, great food, sharing which we prefer. Good service, friendly and helpful. Very happy we went there

We went there after a day out at Waiheke. We liked the atmosphere of the restaurant and that we could get a table in the sun at the front. The service was very friendly and competent. The food was just excellent. We liked the idea of various dishes designed to be shared. So we had as a starter the sashimi followed by the outstanding Hibachi prawns and then we had finally the Roasted Hapuka. All served well prepared for the eyes and the taste. We are just on a roundtrip through NZ, but if we would ever have the chance to get to the Hello Beasty again, we would take it.
