Was great to eat in a place in New Zealand with amazing Greek Food. We had quite a few dishes off their Small dishes menu and everyone of them were bursting with flavour. The decor and ambience was great and the staff were fantastic.

We have a friend from LA transiting in Auckland on her way back home to LA, and she misses the NZ lamb and beef.

I thought of Gerome Greek Mediterranean sharing dining for a party of 6 people, and Gerome did not disappoint.

We began with starters: the house pita bread & taramasalata and hummus ... barbecued squid, favaa, tarator, ouzo cucumber (a favourite, very tender) ... barbecued eggplant, tahini dressing, raisin almond gremolata ... pork cheek, smoked pumpkin skordalia, labne, pickled date, mint ... fried kataifi prawns, carrot tzatziki, honey, citrus

... followed by the larger dishes ... we ordered all the larger dishes .. shoulder of lamb (favourite) ... thigh of chicken (favourite) ... roasted cauliflower ... market fish (hapuka, my favourite fish) ... charcoal grilled rib eye of beef ..

... added the sides: crete greek salad (generous wedge of feta!) ... charred broccolini ..

The food was deliciously seasoned ... and our waiter was attentive his service was excellent explaining each dish .. love the decor and the ambience of Gerome ...

My nephews, two grown boys and foodies were contentedly full and satisfied ... but we managed to squeeze in two desserts to share: galaktobourko (greek traditional dessert ... lemon pie ...

I will definitely return to dine and recommend to family and friends.

We hosted our Sons 21st birthday upstairs a Geromes amazing covered deck area January 2020. What a fantastic night! The staff were superb, the food incredible and the setting was just beautiful. The space comes with its own dedicated bar area and Viktor was so accommodating and pleasant to deal with and his team on the night were just fantastic. Everyone was blown away and the 40 plus guests all commented on the wonderful space and food. It was a hot night and when the sun went down we were able to open the roof and let the breeze in. The sound system was great too and my son was able to stream his own music which was enjoyed by all. Thank you to Viktor for being so professional and making the night a memorable one. Highly recommend for any even - we will be back. Thank you Gerome!!

Very delicious food, great restaurant to share lots of dishes. Highlight dishes were the cauliflower main, prawn starter, house pita and dips and the Greek doughnuts for dessert!
