Gerome is right in the middle of Parnell Street in a fabulous location. It is a lovely restaurant and is very warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. It was an extremely relaxed service, yet very professional. The menu is a nice selection of Greek classics, with nice local fish and produce. Food was very tasty, well prepared and well presented. Prices were very reasonable.

Dined with a group of friends, one of whom had a never of restrictions because she was expecting. Lovely wait staff helped with menu selections and didn't roll eyes once! Great food and atmosphere.

Visited on a Monday night and they were quite busy which was a good sign. We were guided by the waitress who suggested various dishes (group of 6 persons) and all choices were great - Kefalograviera, BBQ Kalamaria, Pork Cheek, lamb shoulder, BBQ Chicken, Roasted cauliflower, etc etc. All serves were good sizes and extremely tasty

Had a very good lunch here. The restaurant is modern, comfortable and has very nice background music. I had the kofta of lamb with pepper tyrokafteri which came on a pitta bread with gem lettuce and chips. It was very tasty, better than I have had elsewhere. The only thing that I would change is that the ships were covered with sauce which made them a little bit soggy, my own preference would have been to have them on the side crispy. If you are like me I am sure if you ask they would do that.

We LOVE Greek food and have it all the time in Melbourne. Apparently it’s less common in Auckland but Gerome makes up for lack of quantity with outstanding quality.

Seriously one of the yummiest Greek meals ever, anywhere in a very funky, contemporary setting with exceptional service.

Quite reasonably priced for Auckland, too.
