Colin has just done a new menu and it's fabulous. Haven't dined there for a few months so was surprised and delighted by the new menu. The lamb loin served with eggplant cheesecake was stunning - gorgeous presentation and really inspired mix of flavours and textures..
Service was friendly and attentive.

Dropped by in passing and discovered this great cafe restaurant serving lovely fresh and tasty food, wonderful flavours, friendly staff. Lovely sub tropical environment. Bread and dips tasty, pork belly and Island fish were great.

I was stunned by the number of locals at this restaurant. A woman at the neighbouring table suggested the pork belly main as it was to die for. She's right. Everything was just perfect from the service to the food to the ambience. I will definitely return.

The cafe sits amidst greenery. It is cool and serene. You can opt to sit outside under a canopy of green or indoors. The food is excellent, with obviously a lot of effort put in creating an eclectic menu. The essence is in the artful combination of flavours. We ordered a variety of dishes- eggplant gado gado, Thai green prawn curry, lamb sirloin and fish of the day. They were all awesome. And the panacotta was divine. Having had our fill we spent time in their wonderful garden that extends behind the cafe. And then settled for their coffee...again great!! It was one of the best meals we had.

We came here for 3 separate meals (x 2 lunches and 1 dinner). It was like finding a gem in the forest.....a very relaxed atmosphere with high quality food. The coffee was also a winner and we are hard to please with coffee.
The food is very special with interesting combinations of modern New Zealand, Asian and European flavours. Everything we tried was delicious and my daughter ordered the pork belly on 2 occasions. We tried 4 desserts including their specialty dish and they were all sublime.
The service was fantastic and the staff knowledgeable about the food and wine list.
