My husband and I stayed at the Como hotel for one night as a special treat for our anniversary. There is only one word to describe our stay and that is “perfect”. Everything from the service to the actual hotel room was perfect. We were welcomed in reception with a glass of champagne and then given a tour of the premises before being shown to our room. We stayed in a Heritage Room and had a beautiful view over the church next door. The layout of the room is amazing and larger than most hotel rooms we have stayed in. The photos on the website are a good reflection of what to expect, the bed and pillows are incredibly comfortable and the room had all the mod cons. The position of the hotel is central to the main shopping area of the city and there are numerous restaurants not only in the complex but also nearby. The hotel is only a 10 minute maximum walk from the main train station which was really handy. The service at the hotel deserves a special mention as it was better than almost anything we have experienced previously. Highly recommend this hotel - a perfect stay!

Great hotel. Atmosphere and history at every turn. Supersized hotel rooms. Fantastic service including a tour of the building, with an explanation of where every thing was.
Quiet , elegant and classy sums this hotel up.
Very good restaurants within the building. Great super king size bed with a firm matress made for a great nights sleep

Room Tip: we had a room on the eastern side of the hotel that had a verandah that overlooked the cathederal and the new library.

We have stayed at Como hotels in Thailand which we enjoy, so were looking forward to trying the Treasury in Perth. Happy to say we really enjoyed it. Having to retain the heritage of the original treasury building has ensured a bonus for hotel guests as the rooms and bathrooms are enormous! The ground floor area is really interesting, there are several bars, wine bars, restaurants and a great craft beer bar. We were also looking forward to trying the Long Chim restaurant in the basement, and we also, really enjoyed. The pool on level 3, with the glass walls and roof is also a highlight.

The location - in the heart of the city and yet secluded. Seems impossible with the Hay Street Mall just a hop skip and jump away. But being in the Cathedral Square made a difference
The building - a quiet and elegant space made more elegant by the charming decor.
The rooms - space and comfort and restful with bathrooms that are large and luxurious We enjoyed our stay very much.
Did not enjoy the breakfast though and was surprised by the the rather defensive manager who asked for feedback but did not really want to hear it.Imagine being asked to write in with our comments when he was right there.
The rest of the staff were superb though and the place so special that we didn't allow that to mar the very very wonderful stay we had.

Room Tip: A few rooms have fireplaces in the - makes it all the more special
