Having been regular diners at Friends Restaurant for over 20 years it never ceases to amaze us how wonderful this restaurant is.
We were greeted warmly at the door and taken upstairs to our table. The restaurant was warm and cosy on a cool rainy night. It’s impressive to see that every staff member in the restaurant was polished, professional, helpful.
The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations, with new Head Chef Graham Jessop at the helm, each dish was beautifully and expertly prepared and bursting with delicious flavours, every bite was incredible. I highly recommend the cured Ocean Trout and the Wagyu beef.
We had beautiful champagne to start with and wine throughout our meal which was recommended by our knowledgeable and attentive waitress’s Michelle and Belle.
Being a sweet tooth the desserts on offer are decadent and delicious, we chose the Blueberry Soufflé which we paired with a sticky dessert wine which finished off our night perfectly.
Thank you Clyde and Lesley Bevan for a wonderful evening.
