We've been coming here for longer than I'd like to admit. My children initially and now my grandchildren love it

The platforms are great as at first the really young ones don't want to go to the top. The older always race to see who can get up there first.

So it combines exercise which assists in reducing the energy of over active children plus fun, fun, fun.

The marker on top points out some features you can see upon reaching the top platform. It provides a great view overlooking the trees.

Plus of course there is parking right there, a win win situation, I bring all my overseas and interstate visitors here they all seem to enjoy it.

Purposely came back to King's Park just to come here. I thought it was quite fun to go up and down due to the intertwining stairs. There is a fairly nice view of the park at the top but the city view is partially blocked by the trees. There is also a plaque with a compass and locations. It isn't the biggest area at the top though so it could get easily crowded. I thought it was a worthwhile stop to climb and have a look. We did have to drive down from the main carpark area by the memorial to save some time, although it is easily walkable.

This is just a simple intertwining tower but provides so much for Kings Park. It has been here for as long as I can remember.

It provides entertainment and exercise in reaching the top. It has several platforms along the way. Kids are often seen racing each other to the top. It has a marker on top indicating some features you may see upon reaching the uppermost platform. It provides a great view from above treeline.

It is a good hike to the top but very safe and easy enough if you take your time and worth it when you get to the top - the views are fantastic and help put Perth in perspective. Make sure you wear sunblock and take water with you (and your camera).
