Dear Reviewer,

Thank you for your post following your recent stay at Pan Pacific Perth.

Whilst we are delighted that you were pleased with our recently renovated reception lobby and with your arrival experience, we regret that you were dissatisfied with your room and its facilities. We have a process of evaluating our rooms to make necessary refurbishments in a reasonable time frame to stay contemporary with the market trends and we did recently have undergone a multi-million dollar rooms refurbishment with some of our rooms that will see them brought up to a high standard. Thank you for your comments with regard to our housekeeping. This is defiantly below the high standard of cleanliness we pride ourselves on delivering on a regular basis. Our team joins me in expressing our genuine apologies for the inconvenience this issue has caused you.

Once again, we appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel. We understand there are many hotels in Perth from which to choose, however, we do hope that you will allow us another opportunity to welcome you and we would be happy to oversee your reservation to ensure you get a room that does exceed your expectations. We have frequent return guests, thus I assure you that we will make your stay a memorable one.

Best regards,
John Kockan

Considering you tend to pay more for a hotel room in Perth than the east coast of Australia, I would recommend staying at the Pan Pacific and to get extra value for money, book a Pacific Club Room. Price then includes buffet breakfast in the Pacific Club Lounge, evening drinks and canapés from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, and later check out. This is the second time we have stayed at Pan Pacific. The rooms are very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Great for a good nights sleep after a party and dancing all half the night. Hotel staff are very friendly and service was great. Food on breakfast buffet & evening drinks was very good. Did not eat in hotel restaurant, as we had a function to go to in the evening. Only downside for the hotel is the outside pool. I don't believe it is heated and therefore not usable all year round. Water was too cold to have a swim when we stayed in September. Will have to make sure we stay there in summer next year.

Room tip: Book a Pacific Club Room

Pool freezing when you could find it, lack of information, steam room took ages to work, room service they got that wrong and by that time I'd had enough and went elsewhere, housekeeping - bring your own milk and coffee - oh and soap and maybe your own cleaning agents - ask for a room without the systen running all night to keep you awake (a serviceable room would be nice). Look forward to being demanded to pay all nights in advance upon arrival and a $100 bond per day (yes you heard right). My worst ever "upmarket" hotel experience - hopeless - could not wait to get out of the place. BUT - ONE OF THE BEST BEDS I HAVE SLEPT IN - EXCELLENT PILLOWS AND NO PROBLEM SLEEPING

We stayed 6 nights at Pan Pacific on our extended visit to Perth. Everyone is so friendly and helpful with great service attitude. The rooms are very clean, with everything you need from a luxury hotel. We had a great view over the Swan River and onto King’s Park for some great sunsets.
Easy access to the CBD, within walking distance or catch a nearby CAT. Easy stroll to the Swan River and the parks along its banks, along with the ferries at Barrack Sq. Close to the Perth Mint as well.
Breakfasts at the hotel are very good, with a variety that will satisfy most tastes. This hotel is in an ideal setting to explore Perth and the Swan River. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great relaxing stay in Perth.

We returning to Perth after a long absence and this hotel was a peaceful, friendly and very well located experience. Staff at every level and on every occasion could not have been more helpful and friendly - genuinely interested. The room was luxurious and we took the recommended additional cost to stay in the business section and gain access to the special services, including a free buffet breakfast and afternoon drinks. The service was faultless and the food of the highest quality. A really great hotel and place to stay. Perth weather of course completed our idea of nirvana! Well done to all concerned in this additional major attraction to our favourite City.

Room tip: Swan River Views a must but Perth downtown views are also commended.
