Just behind Cable Beach Resort Club is the Buddha Sanctuary, Quiet serene location where you can meditate or just simply visit this amazingly large sculpture of Buddha.
We went there today both morning and afternoon and it was closed. Called their number and left a voice message. The timetable in their facebook page says they are open though! No proper info provided! very much disappointed :(
Very nice place for a relaxing visit, my preference is early in the moning as they open at 7. Just chill out and look at the amazing Buddha
Buddha Sanctuary is a tranquil tropical garden with a large airy covered space for yoga. I went for yoga, but I loved the garden, and because I was working in Broome for 2 weeks, the yoga classes were a perfect contrast to my busy work environment.
The yoga timetable varies according to the season (wet or dry), and the classes are suitable for people with all levels of experience. I had two instructors, and both gave clear instructions and varied their routines from day to day. I found it both challenging and relaxing.
The gardens are well-tended and provide a quiet space for reflection and relaxation, alone or with others.
The sanctuary opens at 0700 hr and closes at 1900 hr. It is also closed between 1000 hr and 1600 hr.
A beautiful space for all to enjoy. Meditation, yoga and more at affordable prices with gorgeous instructors. Everyone is welcome and once you have spent some time here you will want to keep walking back into this incredible space.
A peaceful and welcoming garden to sit and relax, or do some meditation, yoga or stretching. I visited a couple of times and my husband went another time to do some yoga (personal not a class), Yoga classes are available. You don't have to be interested in yoga or meditation, I just sat in the garden, enjoyed the sunset colours in the sky and reflected on how lucky I was to be exploring another part of this huge country.
It's free to get in, there is a donation box if you feel inclined and I assume you pay for a class.
