A group of stadiums with so many history and stories behind.
Beautiful park!

Loved the walk from botanical garden and then going to downtown Melbourne.

It's unbelievable how much this precinct has changed over the years. What was first class in the 50's then fell into decay as it awaited regeneration. Now the home of Collingwood footy club and several other sporting bodies it is great for a visit particularly if there is a game on. To have an open Arena in a city is special enough and there is a beauty here and a great running track too. Don't forget to say hi to the Lou Richards and Bob Rose statues on the way to the Glasshouse and Collingwood home base where there is a cafe, shop and great facilities. All this amongst a multitude of other fine sporting venues all around it. Easy tram ride and short walk from the city!

I recall being at the Olympic Park athletics track for it's final event in 2009 as a parent of a Little Athletics competitor and returned this past week for a function in The Glasshouse.
Great views overlooking the oval across to the purpose-built Soccer stadium and across to Hisense and the Tennis centre, and someone told me form the Board room you can look back toward the city.
The Glasshouse staff were polite and attentive and the food was excellent .. and the reminiscing with my now adult daughter was joyful.
Pre-booked parking was available across the road or public transport closeby.

What a great time we had doing day passes and being able to enter HiSense arena as well ...saw some great matches.
Seats at Rod Laver were good and atmosphere in an arena like this is worth the experience to see favourite tennis players on the big stage.

What a fantastic venue. Walking distance to the CBD or a couple of tram stops. Once inside it really has everything you could want at a sporting venue. One of the best I have been at anywhere in the world.
