Situated near to Hobart's attractions. Well appointed, comfortable room. Unlucky to stay when only one lift operating due to upgrade. On site parking available.
A minus for me was that an evening restaurant is not available, only breakfast.

Room Tip: two sides of the hotel have main city roads adjacent

Dear Mike F,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on your recent stay with us.

Unfortunately our lift renovations are an inconvenience to us at the moment, however these are essential works for the future benefit of all guests.

Our close proximity to Salamanca means that the majority of our guests eat out for dinner which is why we don't open our restaurant for dinner, but instead have room service offerings

We hope we can look forward to welcoming you back to our property in the near future.

Regards,

Jamie Hunter

The hotel is a typical Travel Lodge hotel only on a high rise basis. After leaving the UK on Wednesday evening we arrived in Hobart on Friday afternoon. The hotel is a good base to explore Hobart a short walk down to the quay and if you are in Hobart on a Saturday 5 minutes walk to Salamanca market.
The breakfast was first class with a wide choice of hot and cold food.
If you have hired a car both Avis and Thiffty are a 10 minute walk down the hill.

After staying in the Travelodge Hobart, I was left a little disappointed. I booked a twin room for the night Via trivago and chose this hotel for $139 when I got there it was plus $12 for the parking that you were not guaranteed and was not built for small SUV with a roof top tent. There were only a couple of spaces I could use which meant I could not leave the car park in case they were gone when I returned.

The room was very small just enough room for two single beds with a push past one to get in to the small bathroom. There was only one lift working but in fairness they are getting upgraded and that will make a huge difference when the work is completed. They do have breakfast and room service. Full breakfast is around $19. The entry light was not working and the bin a bit worse for wear, not much but at the price I expected a little better. Staff were pleasant and they did make a room available for us after a 6 hour drive which was much appreciated. All in all it met our needs relatively close to the city but when you can rent a one bedroom unit back home for the week for the same price I expect more for my money, or less price.

Room Tip: Check in advance if your car will fit in the car park

Location was great. Staff friendly. Room neat but bathroom very small with no were to place your toiletries. We found the door keys had to be Inserted a few times to gain access and the noise from the other patrons very noticeable. The pillows were very hard. These are only small things the location is the best . Walking distance to most things which is a big plus.

We stayed here on our last evening in Hobart before returning to Perth, WA. Disappointing on a few levels: wi-fi is NOT free really...your free quota is very small. Reception couches need replacing as they're dirty and tatty. Rooms quite small, You can't fit 2 people in a bathroom at once.
A plus is the friendly staff!

Dear SandraAB159,

Thank your for taking the time to provide your feedback on your recent stay with us.

We advertise 100MB free Wi-Fi per day which is what we offer.

I am glad to hear you thought our team were friendly as that's we are all about. I will look into replacement of the lobby couches.

We hope we can look forward to welcoming you back to our property in the near future.
