Very modern motel style rooms in a vintage setting. Right in the middle of everything at Salamanca Place. There is a bar fridge, some crockery and cutlery, a very comfy bed, a wardrobe, small but nice bathroom, reverse cycle air conditioning, good quality linen and towels, a couple of chairs and flat screen TV and milk is delivered daily when the room is serviced. This place is right beside the markets, there are 2 restaurants in the building along with shops and a bottle shop. The gentleman that manages they place is a very nice person and our 3 night stay here was fabulous.

My partner, 10 year old son and I stayed here for 4 nights in May 2018. The room was superb. All finishes were like new, modern, comfortable and clean. All amenities were in top condition, bathroom was newly renovated and our beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed charming views over Salamanca Place and out to the Harbour from the large windows.
The location was absolutely perfect for us. You can walk to everything and we had a hire car for adventuring a bit further from town (parking was provided for no extra cost). There was no door between the lounge and bedroom but a little kitchenette separated them which suited us perfectly.
Our host, Ted, was really lovely. He looked after every tiny detail of our stay. He gave us some helpful advice on where to eat and where to buy supplies. The Galleria even provided some free apples which went down a treat!

Room Tip: The room we had (room 5) was a 1-bedroom. It was perfect for the 3 of us.

Spent 3 nights in this boutique hotel in lovely apartment facing the waterfront and Salamanca place. Very comfortable room set up for a couple. Enjoyed breakfast watching people come and go, below. Walked everywhere and it was great to access Hobart and the areas around Salamanca. Great base for a short break and just downstairs to lots of restaurants nearby. Wish the market was on but still a great place. The smaller rooms looked to be well appointed to, but recommend the larger studio apartment size.

Galleria Salamanca is perfectly placed for those like my wife and I who wanted to visit Salamanca market the morning after we arrived. Ted the host is very genial and helpful.
Our room was very comfortable, clean and well presented. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. I would certainly recommend this establishment to others and we plan to stay there again when we pass through Hobart on our way home.

Room Tip: Rooms are all on one floor. Our room was certainly very quiet.

We could not have stayed in a better location. So suited to walking everywhere and markets at your doorstep if you happen to be there on a Saturday. Not traditional hotel, so don’t expect room service, 24 hour reception etc. but everything is within walking distance and at such a reasonable price. Coffee pods in room a nice treat. Rooms absolutely spotless and very comfy bed.
