Wow! What a fantastic day out for the family! A visit to Normanby Island in the Frankland Island Group Far North Queensland is an experience not to be missed. Together with the attentive and knowledgeable staff we had such an enjoyable, hassle-free day out on the reef. The trip to the island was quick, included a river cruise with crocodile viewing and a complete snorkeling experience with everything included. The package deal was very affordable considering the number of experiences on offer. Seeing a whale breaching from the pristine island paradise shores was such a bonus. Thanks so much to Divers Den and the hardworking crew. Can't wait to visit again soon. Natalie

What a beautiful day going as a family of 5. Cruising the river on the way and spotting a crocodile, also on the way home spotting a big one. Great skipper turned the boat around so all got a great photo. Absolutely helpful and lovely crew!! Beautiful fresh food buffet the family highly enjoyed!! (even had gluten free as an option very happy celiac passenger myself. Let them know before your trip)
At the island Special shoutout hopefully we get the name right. Camille (short blond hair) was so helpful to myself and my nearly 3 yr old. Absolutely lovely lady and awesome with the little ones. Even getting her into the water for a quick snorkel around seeing dory also helped my 13 year old in the larger swim she loved her, spotting a turtle and heaps of beautiful fish.
Also shoutout to mario and another young lady (didn't catch the name) that took the kids on a treasure hunt very educational and had the kids complete concentration the whole way so fun.
Frankland island is one to put on the to do list Absolutely beautiful fish, coral, beach, kayaks, crew, river cruise, food. Worth every cent and not a bad price at all!!!
Last thing was so fun and exciting forgot to pull the phone out for many photos. Must be a winner

We had a great day at Frankland Island! I believe it is the complete pack for a great adventure day. First of all, the boat departs from the Mulgrave river so it is very stable and unlikely to get seasick (the island is very close). On top of that, during the river cruise we could spot a few large crocodiles!! Once in the island, we were snorkeling on the beach and we also did the sea safari. Highly recommended to book the all inclusive package as we could spot 5 turtles on the sea safari and take some kayaks after lunch. We also had time to relax on the sand and go for a walk to the next island as there was low tide.

As I said, I found it is a very comple pack as there was a river cruise where we could spot some crocs, we enjoyed the reef sea safari and we had time to relax and wander around. It was a very memorable experience and we will definitely come back very soon.

Great day out with such a happy, informative & thoughtful crew. We were very impressed with Michelle’s knowledge of marine life and learnt & saw so much. Mario kept us busy and entertained. Added another dimension to reef cruises. Thanks to everyone involved.

My partner and I visited Frankland Islands last week and we are still buzzing from the experience!
When considering a day trip to one of the Islands the debate is usually between Green Island and Fitzroy Island, but after some good reviews from friends we decided to mix it up and book the Frankland Islands tour. Pleasantly Surprised is an Understatement!

The island itself is beautiful, and you’re the only people on it! The beach is actual sand too!
Under the water the array of corals and wildlife is unmatched and the conditions were super friendly on weaker swimmers. We joined in on the drift-snorkel tour and I spotted 6 big turtles. Never seen so many in my life

The whole crew was so lovely and approachable. Scotty the main host was keeping us all entertained throughout the day with his humour and constant optional activities and the buffet picnic on the beach was sensational.

On the way back we saw 2 crocodiles on the riverbank which was the icing on the cake.

Amazing day, and my new favourite Island tour on the reef.

Thank Caleb P
