I love surprises!

On arrival we were delighted to find this hotel had charm, character and a warm feel to it, and thats just the enterence and foyer! The check in was simple and without fuss. We were already aware of the construction noise (Albert St tunnel) so had requested a room at the rear of the hotel. We were taken by the quality finishes, and old world style that provided a beautiful ambience on our way to the room. To our totall surprise on entering the room we found it so spacious and comfortable, we were not expecting a 1 bedroom, full kitchen, lounge and dinning and laundry! Great location, we were there for 2 nights and walked everywhere easily. The public transport including the ferries is just 50cents a ride. The Brisbane River crusie on the city cat at 50cents each was tremendous value! Thanks Royal Albert team, we would definately stay again, best value in Brisbane.

The rooms are gorgeous and spacious! Plenty of room for the family to spread out. Loved having a full kitchen plus dining table. Everything was sparkling clean including kitchenware.
It was very convenient being right in the middle of a shopping district, with lots of restaurants to choose from.
The only unfortunate things were the horrible wifi (despite the hotel attempting to provide several networks, I could never connect to any of them) and no onsite carpark due to construction (although parking at the shopping mall across the street wasn’t too bad). Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely hotel in a perfect position in Brisbane. Large room with lounge, dining, kitchen and laundry area. Nice and clean and great value for money. Two downsides - the WiFi was shocking, almost not existent and despite checking out on 8 June our AUD $100 will not be refunded until 3 July. Not sure why there’s such a long delay 🙄

Room tip: Be aware your deposit may take 3/4 weeks to be returned and be prepared for bad WiFi

Overall decent accomodation for a family of 5. Location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Brisbane’s shopping district. Lots of restaurants/ fast food to choose from nearby, a Coles supermarket a few minutes walk away, a convenience store across the road and close to public transport. We didn’t have a car and had no issues getting around by foot and bus. We stayed in a 3 br apartment, our family of 5 slept comfortably, could have accommodated an additional 2 people easily. If you’re looking for value for money, comfort and location, you can’t beat the royal albert.

Friendly welcoming staff. Very central and convenient location for sightseeing. The room is clean and really spacious, much bigger than expected. The air-conditioning is strong which is perfect for a hot summer day.

Unfortunate experience in relation to the room. Airconditioner kept tripping the power out, iron was not safe to use (hadn't been safety tagged for 13 years, surging heat and damaged a pair of trousers because is spat debris all over them). Customer service included being shown how to navigate the power box, no offer of another room or alternative arrangement. Its been 4 days since check out and Manager still hasn't made contact, although advised at check out they were in a meeting and coudl call after. Was advised the same today.

Dear valued guest,
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us, and we sincerely apologize for the challenges you faced during your recent stay at our hotel. Your experience falls short of the high standards we strive to maintain, and we appreciate your patience as we address the issues you've raised.
We understand the inconvenience caused by the air conditioner and the unsafe iron, we want to clarify that the issues with the air conditioning were unforeseen events, and we deeply regret any inconvenience it may have caused. We are promptly addressing the issues with the iron and air conditioning to guarantee a safer and more comfortable environment for our guests.
Regarding the room alternatives, we regret to inform you that due to the bustling holiday season, our hotel experienced full occupancy, which regrettably restricted our ability to provide an alternative room. We appreciate your understanding in light of the busy period.
Regarding the delayed communication, our management team has been in recent contact with you, and we assure you that we take this matter seriously and are committed to resolving it promptly.
Your feedback is highly valued, and your satisfaction is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and for bringing these matters to our attention. We are dedicated to learning from this experience to prevent similar issues for future guests.
Kindest regards,
The Royal Albert Team.
