Absolute best breakfast buffet for gluten free I’ve ever had anywhere, absolute 10. Unreal good selection and tastes, wouldn’t stay anywhere else in brizzy next time. Bar food was good and room was what you expect at the W, Hugh remarks all around.

We visited for 5x nights from interstate. Having stayed at other W resorts and hotels internationally, I did have very high expectations overall. The hotel felt fresh and new, the location is great and easy to walk to the mall or across the bridge to the south bank precinct and there were plenty of eateries around the area. The room was well maintained, cleaned beautifully and well thought out. The bathroom was spacious and had great lighting. The room was quiet too - we didn’t hear a lot of noise at night or slamming doors either
The pool area was a tad underwhelming, there are only a few sun lounges/cabanas, limited sun due to the design and although heated, the pool seemed cold. Food and beverages were expensive but good quality. The gym is well appointed.

Ground floor staff a bit unusually snobby considering their roles, but once you get up to reception the welcome is very nice. Quirky room with interesting decor, very comfortable sleep, amazing view.
Plenty of hot water, but wobbly uncomfortable tin bath.

We visited the Wet Bar for canapés and drinks following a work event held at the hotel. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to stay at the hotel but from what I saw, it’s looks pretty amazing with a very modern design and vibe.
The bar itself was very trendy with an incredible view of the Brisbane River. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I wanted to specifically mention Phoebe, who took great care of my two children. They in fact wanted to give her 100 stars if they could. A big thank you from them to Phoebe again and they said they hope she gets to read this!

Lovely modern room, nicely designed and well-appointed. Everything in the room worked. I could hear some noise from adjoining room, but did not keep me awake. Good location.
