Immaculately clean room, with 3 single beds as requested. Difficult to find reasonably priced accommodation on the esplanade in Darwin. Close to everything including the waterfront. Basic facilities but definitely all that was required for an overnight family visit.
Good wifi access too, quiet room and just round the corner to lots of restaurants and the port, as well as having key access to a side gate so didn't have to go all the way back to reception. Great welcoming staff

Stay here in the bungalows regularly whilst in town on business always excellent in both consistency of cleanliness and politeness of staff especially Emma the desk manager which follows thru to all staff from front office to cleaners.

Great location, free parking, nice leafy surrounds, good TV comfortable bed, good bathroom.
Very close to great restaurants and cafes and nice parks on the esplanade and near Parliament House.
Nothing at all to dislike, friendly reception staff. Would stay again for sure. Recommended.

My room was very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds and gardens were lush and it was nice to have a little bit of an oasis and a retreat in my air-conditioned room! travelling solo I felt very safe and comfortable in this resort.

We took up a bungalow with a spa of which there are 3. Ours was the one closest to reception the other 2 were on the corner of the property. The bungalow is basically one room with Japanese style sliding paper divider. There is a veranda with electric BBQ and in our case a view through vegetation around the bungalow, over a picket fence across a footpath, roadway, the park and then to the ocean.

The bungalow is surrounded by the a tropical garden as is the spa. The whole feel is pleasant and 'tropical'. One problem was that the vegetation at the front was not quite thick enough leaving you feeling a little exposed to the foot traffic that passes on the footpath on the outer side of the picket fence.

The setup inside the bungalow was adequate but fairly compact and if my partner wanted to go to bed while I watched TV there was little light separation given by drawing the Japanese style sliding paper divider.

There was noise generated by people in the park, traffic on the road etc. I did not find it too bad and it did not interfere with my sleep or enjoyment of the veranda however my partner did hear the noise and it mildly interfered with her sleep.

The bathroom was very small and exhibited one of my pet hates, shower taps that were not clearly designated hot and cold.

The spa was great and was used to cool off/ freshen up at least once per day. The property has a pool which looked good but we had the spa so didn't use it. There are washing machines etc on site and were in good condition.

Internet was available as WiFi and in our case was barely functional with dropouts and inability to connect to various devices.

Parking on the property was free.

Breakfast was available on site but was pretty ordinary and we only did it once since due to the location of the property you are within easy walking distance of some good breakfast spots.

Location is excellent with the main street, pubs ,shops, things to do within reasonable walking distance.

All in all a very good location in Darwin with good access to central Darwin, various attractions, pubs, eating houses etc.

Room Tip: Get a bungalow with spa
