Visit this place after going to the Parliament! The view of the straight line from top and blue skies is breathtaking. We did not hike. We drove. Next time we hike!!

Rode up to the peak, stayed for about one hour. Magnificent view of Canberra, I recommend going up for a great view, or even a picnic.
This overlook offers a perspective of the layout of Canberra city that is superior to that offered by the Telstra tower due to the fact that it views right down to the War Memorial and Parliament House.
Marvellous views - terrific for photos. Interesting information boards. Refreshments were available from a mobile vendor. Easy drive from the city's main attractions, and convenient, free parking. A must-do Canberra experience - would suggest a visit to the National Capital Exhibition first to fully appreciate the planning behind all you will see.
It's a lookout with a great view. You get a great view of the capital and all the Canberra surroundings. There is a fella sell coffee and ice cream at the top. Not sure if he is there all the time.
A fantastic view, woth the drive up the windy road. At the time (7pmish on a Friday night) we went the parking was easy, the lookout uncrowded.
If going at night your phone torch is handy as the paths are lit but not well lit.
