We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the shower was awesome. Breakfast out on the patio was relaxing and we never passed up the mini cream donuts! You can’t beat reading in the shade on the grassy area or a walk along the rocky beach. It was the perfect ending to our busy Italian vacation.

This hotel has class, without being pretentious, and a fantastic restaurant with rooftop dining overlooking the Adriatic. The staff are extremely obliging and helpful and made our stay a more than happy one. We'd certainly book again if we ever travel back to this part of Italy.

This is the third time we've been here. The hotel itself is located in the stunning amphitheatre of the Monte Conero hills. The hotel is built within the old fort which gives it great character and adds to its charm. Rooms aren't big but clean and very comfortable. Theres no swimming pool, you just walk through a gate off the sun terrace and into the sea. Be aware the sea is very rocky here so remember to pack a pair of those rubber slip on shoes! The restaurant is great with stunning views in the evening from the open terrace, however you can still walk out to places on the nearby beach in the evening or the famous Clandestino sushi bar just 6 minutes walk away.Staff can't do enough for you either.

In overall, it is very nice hotel. Former fortress built by the Napoleon’s army to protect important drinkable water source. It says that it had its strategic position to protect Venice because of the water source.

Beautiful forest is around. If you like to jog, wonderful place.

It is kind of remote area from the villages, but it has very good restaurant and there are few on the beach.

The suites are very interesting and spacious, the standard is the standard. All windows are inside of the fortress.

Breakfast is quite nice, considering Italian breakfasts.

Services are very good.

The only negative side is the sea bottom around hotel is not even pebbles, it is more rocks. So, the special shoes do not save you. But in the walking distance several beaches with the more or less appropriate seat bottom.
