This outlet is in a convenient location on the way out of Totton into Southampton and next to the station, plus it was great land re-development from the unused site. But I have really noticed the increased litter in the area especially with the salt marsh just yards away this is asking for trouble. And the exit road is on a rather dangerous bend which now features a much-needed pedestrian crossing island. It would've been much safer with traffic signals but there we go... when do large corporations and/or local councils ever care about pedestrian safety unless someone is seriously hurt or killed?
Anyway onto the restaurant itself, overall it's a nice experience with a good layout upstairs and downstairs. Pretty standard for McDonalds but the service isn't exactly the fastest at certain times of the day. It's here for convenience at the end of the day and nothing more than that!

I am by my own admission a far too regular user of McDonald's at this site I nip in there more than I should but I Just love their breakfast menu - i use drive through for my convenience and live very local
At busy times it becomes uncomfortable from pole position first turn then into two lanes for ordering then the chicane back into one lane for the I was first to the payment desk cringing that the guy taking the payment desk is gonna talk a load of twaddle probably to cover his embarrassment with the shambles caused by bad traffic management

Not been in a McDonalds for years, and I can say I won't be going into one again, ordered Chicken burger and the fish set meal it was not busy but still had to wait, got to the table to find I had been given a beef burger and not chicken, back to the counter to get it changed the guy serving looked at me as if it was my fault, the chicken burger was ok, the fish was a little square thing in the middle of a not so nice bun, on a positive the fries were hot, and it's a lovely new building.

Came in at 11.30 after work for a quick bite to eat but had to wait 20 mins for my food in the drive through, for a fast food outlet it shouldn't take that long

The slowest McDonald's I have ever visited, and it wasn't even busy. Rubbish piled high around the kids computer area. Chips were cold when we eventually did get them. Give it a miss or prepare for a long wait to be served.
