“Lovely Neighborhood Experience in Malta.”
Reviewed 24 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We had a delightful stay in Kalkara, Malta in this lovely one bedroom apartment that overlooked the harbor. The apartment was comfortable and cool. The ferry to Valletta was a comfortable walk, and the local merchants were abundant — ready to sell bakery goods, wine, and fruits and vegetables. With the help of our host, we rented a small motorcycle, which was delivered to us at our door, and traveled around the island. My husband and I loved the authentic neighborhood feel and would recommend this place to others.

“Unusual lovely apartment, ideally situated surrounded by history.”
Reviewed 21 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this truely lovely modernised apartment in Kalkara. The view from the balcony windows accross the bay of the old fort and city walls is impressive especially when lit up at night. Convenience stores, a take-away, a bakery and an excellent restaurant are all minutes away. The bus to Valetta is nearby and a ten minute walk takes one to the ferry across the Grand Harbour to Valetta. A small sandy beach can be reached after a ten minute stroll through the old narrow Kalkara streets lined with typical Maltese houses and their unique balconies. The friendliness of the people and especially our most helpful host made our stay one to remember. We'll definitely be back!
