I really enjoyed the beautiful location and surrounding area, by the sea. Priest's Cove is National Trust and worth exploring, offering a stunning rugged coastline, sunsets and steeped in history.

I loved the hotel as it felt very luxurious, with top quality food served in the restaurant and the staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. I visited with my 8 year old son and we felt really spoilt. They have a large pool, jacuzzi and steam room which is always a bonus.

The restaurant offered some seating in a bay window with a sea view and the remainder of the room offered spacious seating. The menu at the time of our stay offered a choice of starters, 5 main courses including fish, steak,a pasta dish and ham, egg and chips. There were some desserts and lovely coffees too. They offered my son smaller options on the menu. The hot breakfast choices were great, including delicious porridge with clotted cream, which was ideal for a winter's day. They also had toast and jams, yoghurts and fresh coffee and tea. The restaurant has a bar at one end with comfortable seating next to a fireplace. I had a Tarquins Cornish gin and tonic which I would recommend too. This was a great place to sit after breakfast, and there was a tv in this area too. Some daily papers would have been a nice idea.

We stayed in a family suite "Wheal Chase" offering a spacious room, spotlessly clean with a slight view of the sea and sunset from the side window. It had a lovely beamed ceiling with a quaint modern bathroom, with complimentary toiletries. There are tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits in the room too. There is also a TV, free Wi-Fi and an information folder that includes the history of the golf course and a little about the Cape.

I would definitely recommend visiting here for an evening meal or a relaxing vacation.
The golf course is supposed to be quite unique too.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a little staycation, the pool is lovely & the breakfast was ok. We felt that it was expensive for what you got, the shower in the room had a varying temperature & the only complimentary toiletries you got was a tiny bottle of shampoo & a small bar of soap, not enough for two people for three nights. The mattress was rock hard & uncomfortable to sleep on. My partner enjoyed playing golf but had to pay extra on top of what we were paying to stay. There are spa treatments advertised on the website but nothing to be seen at the hotel. We initially booked via booking.com but had to cancel due to work, we rebooked & during this time we had emailed about playing golf but only got one response, we emailed again but received nothing back so communication definitely could use improvement! Lucky for them their saving grace is their new manager who is lovely, chatty & nothing is too much for him, an absolute asset to the place!

This is the second time we've stayed here as a group of 9. The rooms are across a courtyard in a converted outbuilding and are very pleasant, clean bright and tastefully furnished. A short down hill stroll away is the small but beautiful headland Cape Cornwall owned by the National Trust. Breakfast is hot and tasty. There is complimentary tea and coffee in each room. Being only 4 miles from Lands End and an easy car drive to the Minack Theatre, Cape Cornwall Golf and Leisure Club is a great choice for a short stay.

The location is fantastic and the staff were really lovely and welcoming but I felt the value was not there given the lack of breakfast on offer if you didn't want the cooked option. Feels harsh to say, but for the price, I would expect better.
