I think la Piramide was brilliant, on the whole. The staff were a highlight. A big shoutout to the friendly and diligent cleaning team who were out very early every day, cleaning the pool, the rooms, and the sun area. Every day, everything was cleaned without fail. The pool was great, and beer prices were very reasonable. Yes, the apartment had a bit of wear and tear and some better mattresses would be good, but people need to be mindful that they are paying a very low price and should pay more if they want more. We thought that this complex represented excellent value on the whole and we would go again. Our only criticism is that the food is very meat heavy, and, even at breakfast, unless you wanted fruit only, you would struggle to eat veggie or vegan. I would suggest having some plant milk and perhaps some vegetarian sausages for breakfast and dinner, at least in high season. If there had been more plant-based food, we would have eaten at the hotel more often. That said, if you do eat meat, their barbecue buffet looked fantastic and there was loads of food.

Some reviews have been unkind about this place but if you want somewhere clean and quiet with good staff where you can have a cheap beer and a good swim, this is your place. Remember what you're paying for. Given the price, the offering is excellent.

My wife and i recently came back from the La Piramide Hotel/appartments
First impressions are not great the exterior is unloved and dirty, on entry you walk into a large space (reception/bar and lounge area) exposed cables, noisey and grubby.
Reception staff are polite and freindly and happy to answer your questions.
We were directed to our appartment and to our dismay we were given another rude awakening......
Broken furniture, kitchen cupboards not fitting/loose, bedroom curtain to small for window, large gap in patio door and as it was really windy the week we were there this extra ventilation was not welcome it made the appartment very cold
We stayed in appartment 113

Where to next, The Food
The choice of food was very limited...
Chips every night with no vegetables lack of choice is an under statement
Food was cold, not a warmed servery, they had a microwave for you to warm your food, totally unacceptable
Breakfast was the same every morning but at least there was something there you could eat even if it was just toast

On a positive note the staff are all very friendly, the cleaners come in daily and they do try

Last word on this accomadation avoid all inclusive as i think you can do better else where, i dont normally do negative reviews but i wouldnt want anyone else to pay for a holiday and be dissapointed as we were.

We booked a week here in an apartment and were devastated when we saw the place. As we arrived there was a couple leaving who nodded at us and said “good luck”. It’s miles from anywhere, and the restaurants in walking distance are 1.5km walk across barren unlit paths through scrub.Curtain rail in the bedroom fell off, worktop had holes in, light bulb broken and mold in the corner of the bedroom. The pictures on the website look like kitsch 1960’s but in reality it hasn’t been touched since then. The last straw was the overwhelming smell of disinfectant hiding goodness knows what. We didn’t stay and were relieved to find an alternative.

Room Tip: Choose somewhere else!

This is a good value for money hotel. Don't be put off by the negative comments. It doesn't advertise itself as a 5 star hotel. But it is clean and well run by a great team of dedicated staff. Close to the airport and 5 euro ride (or 30 minute scenic walk) to Caleta. I suggest walking down and taxi back. Feed the chipmunks some nuts on the way down.

The staff work hard at this hotel to make the guests happy. Even the manager is hands on and gets involved with the guests. If you're after a lively hotel, forget it. This hotel gives you a cheap, quiet, friendly option at a good price.

The food is fine and the restaurant is clean. As you'd expect, it's not a la carte but there is plenty to eat (We were half board).

Not a lot going on at night. I suggest going into one of the hotels in Caleta if you want evening entertainment.

The reception staff personally take you to your room, which is a nice touch.

Overall a very reasonably priced holiday.
