Very basic menu (pizza, salads, steak & frites - French fries), still in a nice and clean setting, with a kind, welcoming couple of owners.
Very reasonable prices.
Steak (bavette, a budget price, small, tasty, strong texture cut) is served with a nice wine/mushrooms/meat juice sauce and some of the best fried fries I ever stumbled upon.
With hindsight, check out the larger neighbouring town of Crevecoeur-le-Grand, a bare 7 miles to the North-West. Many more cafés and restaurants, looked more promising. Still, this was nice.
