Stopped on my way through back to Wellington. I've been here before but it appears to have changed hands since the last time I visited. I'm delighted to say it's better than before. The staff were friendly and the range of food was good too. I had an omelette with hash brown and a coffee. The food was really tasty and the coffee was good too. There was a good turn over of people while I was there, some locals too which is a good sign.
They are upgrading the toilets, but are still usable. Have been before as I say and will go again.

A great place to stop for a break. I had the Chicken burger with added bacon which was nice and crunchy and still moist inside and my husband had a perfectly cooked steak burger. You can order from the menu or there is a pie warmer and sweet treats :)

Surprising little gem. We were told that the steaks we fantastic, but since it was the owner telling us, we were skeptical. Both were cooked to perfection and presented well. Highly recommend this popular cafe in a quaint town.

This little gem is our go to cafe for when we travel south. The food is really nice, good value for money and excellent customer service no matter how busy they get

We were craving avocado on toast and pancakes. We stopped at this cafe and didn’t have high expectations but it was amazing! The avo was whipped with feta and it was delicious and so big we couldn’t finish it! The pancakes were nice and fluffy with plenty of bacon and banana. Mocca was yum
