“Bliss”
Reviewed 4 December 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We loved staying here. The house is small but pretty and the location ideal for a complete getaway. The hamlet itself was charming. My husband is a keen cyclist and he loved the challenging routes and scenery. We took our two elderly dogs who loved the nearby walks and the peace. Kevin is an extremely nice man, very helpful and friendly. We were very lucky to be there at grape harvest time and it was fascinating and made the surrounding area all the more charming.

You would need a car as it is quite remote but there are some lovely places only a short drive away. We were never bored.

We were looking for a get-away-from-it-all holiday and we were not disappointed. We really loved our fortnight here and will almost certainly return.

“A pretty little gite in peaceful surroundings”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Our second time staying at La Petite Maison. Charming little cottage, quirky but comfortable with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The hamlet itself has no amenities but it is only a short drive to the next village for the essentials. Ideally placed for touring the area; close to Canal du Midi and only about 40 minutes from the sea.

“Delightful charming character cottage”
Reviewed 16 June 2014 for a stay in August 2012

We loved this cottage. We spent a week here last August with our four
grandchildren and had a fantastic holiday. The owners were a pleasure
to meet and do business with. The cottage is a delightful charming
character cottage, very homely with lovely comfortable rooms. While
it is a rustic country cottage it is also
well equipped with everything needed for self catering, and plenty of
books, games and CDs.

The location is beautiful with countryside and lovely beaches nearby.
The property is comfortable and really very special and we left with
fond memories vowing to return.

We stayed in Paguignan in a group of adults and grown-up children. The house is well equipped, well presented and with plenty of space. It's very old in parts and is charming. Paguignan itself is beautifully rustic and although it has no shop or bar , it's only a short drive/bike ride/walk to Aigues-Vives where there is a shop, boulangerie and a cave selling very drinkable wine.
The owners, Kevin and Philippa could not have been more helpful and lent us bikes which were well used for the daily bread run and also for exploring the local countryside. There are many interesting villages in the area including Minerve, a Cathar stronghold, supposedly one of the most beautiful villages in France.
There is fantastic river swimming in the area and a good network of walks. All in all La Petite Maison is a wonderful holiday house for anyone interested in rural France - so wonderful in fact, that we're going back this year!

Stayed here last year with friends, what a great find this place was. Peace, tranquility, tucked away in rural France, yet close to many beautiful places to visit, and just 40 minutes to the coast, I couldn't have wished for anymore. Also close to airports, so it has absolutely everything. The accommodation was very clean, user friendly, cosy and spacious and the whole time was a really positive experience. A very big thank you to Mr and Mrs Moore who were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I floated back from this place and will definitely be returning, can't recommend it enough.
