The room was very nice with a balcony view of the ocean. We paid $1,400 for all inclusive which gave us access to 7 restaurants. Unfortunately, we were only able to dine at 5. I had the worst meal possible at the seafood restaurant near the marina. The fish was very tough. We kept running put of coffee and water. Had to repeatedly call for service. Room service was nice, but they never picked up our tray after calling them to pick it up. The maid service was friendly and excellent. The pools were beautiful and well kept. I did like the ability to go to the El Cid Ventus and Ventus HA. There were carts available to take us everywhere, which is good because I am elderly with limited mobility. We stayed during Hurricane Helene and were locked down in our room for one day. They covered balcony doors with a storm shutters. I felt safe. I doubt I will return to this resort.

Manuel Diaz & Are Mendez helped make our family trip one we will never forget! They were super helpful during our entire stay. My family and I greatly appreciate them for their hard work and for making our family trip go so smooth. Thank you so much!

As usual El Cid provided a nice fun, relaxing getaway.

Wish the beaches were nicer.

One other comment, we arrived on Friday less than 2 days after storm/Hurricane Helene hit resort and there were virtually no signs that it had been hit, resort was completely picked up.

Definitely recommend EL Cid for your vacation getaways, place is beautiful and very spread out so you never feel crowded, very relaxing.
