I’ve just returned from my fifth stay at the ElCid Resort, and it’s clear why I keep coming back. The standout feature for me is the kids’ club. Having tried other hotels, I can confidently say this is the best place for families with children aged 4-12. The kids’ club is so engaging that my children often preferred to stay there rather than leave. It’s a wonderful break for parents, as the club strictly limits screen time and focuses on arts, crafts, and traditional games.
The kids’ club is open from 9 AM to 9 PM, allowing parents to fully enjoy their vacation. A huge shoutout to the incredible staff there—Grace, Rox, Chris, Andy, April, Santi, and Kath—who create a warm, family-like environment for the kids. Special thanks to Rox, who shared a part of Mexican culture with us and became very close to my children. We will miss you and look forward to seeing you again soon!
I also want to extend my thanks to the food and beverage team. Angel provided swift and friendly service, Leonardo served up the best sushi, Miguel’s octopus salad was exceptional, Jason made breakfast fun with engaging conversations, Pedro ensured our table was always well taken care of, and Jessica cooked the best eggs.
Overall, the ElCid Resort offers a fantastic experience that I highly recommend for families. The quality of the kids’ club, combined with excellent service across the board, makes it a standout choice.
