This is the right place to enjoy the excellent dishes from the Canavese region, especially the Fritto Misto.

The quality of the pasta dishes (with or without truffle) and the excellent salt/sweet Fritto Misto and other entrees make this a very good destination if you are passing by on the way to the Aosta valley.

To be noted the excellent quality and value of the Wine List and the precious help of the owner in choosing food and wine.

We were there for a third time, it was a saturday dinner, with two friends visiting from California, and veeery interested in italian cooking, but already quite knowledgeable.
We had tagliere , as the owner produces his own salami, herbs flan, that I hearthly recommend, which is unusual and perfect, and the superb Fritto Misto alla piemontese. Good local wines, we choose white wine as it was a very hot summer day. We asked for doggy bags and they were happy to provide them. The owner speaks english. I cannot recommend this place enough. Note that it's open only on week ends.

We were there on Saturday for lunch, the day before Easter. It's a small recently built country restaurant, nicely set. Not more than 20 tables, I would say. First thing I noticed was a long table prepared for around twenty people and I worried we wouldn't be quiet enough to chat with our friends, but I was happily mistaken: people arrived, there were many children with them but the ceiling being so high no excessive noise bothered us: a beautiful ...and so rare, thing! All the dishes were delicious. Fritto misto was perfect, and this not something often happening in the restaurants nowadays. Lamb, Vitel tonné, grilled vegetables, pasta: everything was so good. Service was correct. We also bought a salami (salame di patata, typical in the region) because the owner prepares them by himself. Doggybag for Fritto misto. Good choice of wine, we had a Dolcetto. We'll be back again and again. Take note: they open only on weekends. Prices are good.
