Fabulous little bistro with friendly service and delicious food plus an excellent choice of wine. We happened upon this place after visiting the war museum nearby.
Recommend both.

Fromelles is a village l visit often but have not until recently had the opportunity to stay until we discovered the magnificent 'Cote Reves' nearby, During our stay we ate for three nights in this beautifully designed restaurant/.café/bar due to the superb food wine and ambience. Greeted by the front of house manager and charming lady Patron who just happens to be a 'master of wine' renowned throughout France .. we immediately knew we had discovered a 'gem'. My French sadly poor due to making a mistake at school, French lessons to be told by the teacher ''the trouble with you is that you look intelligent, but your not ..leave the class'' not tolerated now but that well and truly shocked me and thus ended my French lessons.. and so back to the restaurant ,the manager who spoke perfect English guided us every night on the selections of wines and knew the entire ingredients of each dish.
He was so polite and knowleable about the food cooked by his parents who we met on the last night of ,all we can really say that the love and passion for good ingredients, recipes, presentation was faultless and each dish savoured was a delight Digressing again l cooked and was trained by chef Keith Floyd who later found International acclaim as a TV chef and cookery book writer. a true master of French cuisine and true raconteur who helped me on a journey of appreciating finely cooked
dishes cooked as was with this restaurant with a passion and love .. We have already booked to stay next year and cannot wait to return to this delightful establishment ..Oh l had on two nights the melon sorbet doused with Calvados. Another dessert dish was made with a 'secret recipe' and l guessed the ingredients but promised not tell !
PS they deserve a Michelin star !

After visiting the museum and 1 WW cemetaries, we happened upon this lovely bistro, and had a lovely meal, fine wine, and aperitifs. The service there was very welcoming, attentive. Price/quality ratio was excellent. Ambiance was busy and agreeable. Local people ? at lunchtime. We can definitely recommend this lovely bistrot to Fromelles area visitors... and we would certainly return there whenever we would be in the area.....

We were so pleased to find this excellent restaurant in such a small town. Our family ate here for lunch and dinner across the week we spent in Fromelles.

A very local establishment, well attended by locals.

We made a reservation for dinner - it gets very busy Friday & Saturday evenings and reservations are required. Mid week is less busy but best to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

The food was delicious - very French and the service very good. Lovely decor and ambience.

The waiter spoke English. Our family of five - with three young children was very much welcomed. Catered well for children. It wasn't cheap, but not excessive either for the quality of good and service.

Highly recommended.
