Great for a relaxing weekend with superb food.

Super friendly team - nothing was to hard. Service was great and the food really outstanding. Hard to believe that the meals were so good for such a remote place. Definitely go for the full meal service. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious with fabulous views. Lots of good walks from the lodge but be prepared for a lot of uphill. Couldn’t fault the place and would definitely return.

Everything about the Bay of Many Coves was spectacular. From the moment we booked, Rianne and her team went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress free, arranging water taxi transfers to fit in with our prior tour, greeting us on the dock and showing us around. The site is very steep which enables every apartment to offer panoramic views of the bay. The staff were very accommodating driving my friend up to our apartment with her sprained ankle (injury prior to arrival) and suppling ice etc. The resort was the perfect place for her to recuperate with endlessly changing views of the pristine water, dolphin and seal sightings and bountiful birdlife to watch. There are great hikes and plenty of water activities available. We stayed for 2 days, but could easily have stayed longer! The apartment was beautiful, the food was amazing and the customer service was beyond excellent. This is truely 5 star- highly recommended!

We like to meet and greet all our guests from the jetty, and show everyone around our beautiful property. Thank you so much for your presents you left in the room. The team enjoyed this very much :) We hope to see you all back again soon.

This is a stunning property in a remote tranquil location in the Marlborough Sounds accessible only by water. The facilities are 5 star & the staff extremely friendly and accomodating. There are great hikes nearby with access to the Queen Charlotte track. Water activities are available including kayaking.

Thank you for your wonderful review and i'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay. The walk around the property and especially the Queen Charlotte is a great track to walk for a day or two. All our guests have acces to our kayaks, peddle boards and beautiful restored dingy to explore the water front at the Bay of Many Coves.

This was WORLD CLASS! Everything from the staff where nothing was a problem, to the accomodation neatly presented with everything you needed in a room, even own laundry facilities, to the food which was absolutely incredible, especially the wine match degustation dinner, beverage list and facilities. Could not fault Bay of Many Coves - they organised everything, including fishing charter for the boys, while us girls were dropped to walk some of Queen Charlotte track into Furneaux. Just stunning! Thank you!

Room tip: If going on Fishing Charter, ask staff for backpack with water and morning tea as nothing was supplied on boat for 4 hr charter.

We had the most amazing stay at the Bay of Many Coves, the staff are all exception and we have eaten like kings from the amazing 5 course dinners to be delicious breakfasts, we would recommed to all to book a stay. The Marlborough Sounds also displayed two perfect days, sunshine and doplins to top if all off. Janene and Brian

Absolutely loved our 3 day package stay at Bay of Many Coves.
What a beautiful part of the sounds with amazing outlook, sunshine, clear waters and native bush surrounding the complementary buildings of the resort.
From start to finish the staff were dedicated to making our time the best it could be and all took amazing ownership in the ethos of making their part as good as it could be.
Danni introduced us to the resort and set up the experiences we could have while there, Kerrie was an amazing chef with flair and creativity but also personalised to what we enjoyed in 3 nights of amazing degustation menu, and Lynn who maintains the exquisite grounds taught us flax weaving one morning. We stayed at a quiet time at the resort which added also to the peace and quiet of our break.
Marlborough Sounds undersell the beauty of the sounds and their amazing wildlife. We kayaked with dolphins, watched a shag nesting sanctuary outside our room window and watched the gannets diving for their feed and the seal in the bay also right outside our window as he caught his feed for the day. We walked up through the beautiful dense native bush right behind the resort to the waterfall and to lovely views of the sound and back down to enjoy a hot spa.
The boat trip in with E-Ko tours set the scene for a lovely stay and the return to Picton was great also with Cougarline also showing you many of the other bays as we returned to Picton.
An amazing three day rest. Certainly is at treat only prices but was worth every cent. Highly recommend.
