Wonderful Experience

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 30 Oct 2024
What a wonderful experience. We spent a couple of nights at Le Lagoto. We were looking for a little time away from Apia. This place fit the bill perfectly. We found the staff extremely helpful and pleasant. The open air restaurant was very nice, with a good selection of well prepared choices.

We went out on a snorkel excursion with Dive Savaii, the snorkeling was within the lagoon and was very nice.

One early morning during a mild rain, I took a kayak out for a ride around the lagoon. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

We were there with my 80+ year old parents, they kept commenting on how peaceful and nice the place was.

We loved our time at Le Lagoto on Savaii. Our polynesian style cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was air conditioned, had small fridge and coffee/ tea. We had beautiful views with surrounding windows. We loved the beach view from our deck with chairs. The scenery is amazing with swimming and snorkeling right in front of our cabin. The Fia Fia night was excellent as well as all the meals we had at the resort.

What a stunning place to stay. The people were my highlight before I even start to capture the natural beauty. Staff were so friendly and accommodating that you felt like family and hard to say goodbye. We loved the smaller resort with rooms private and well serviced.
Access to white sandy beach front on an amazing lagoon for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and just watching was awesome. Tours available and lots of attractions within close access on the resort. Turtle sanctuary 5 mins away is a must do to feed and snorkel with these incredible creatures.
If you want to relax, then this is the place for you to unwind and recharge. Food tasty and drinks cold and yummy. No wi-fi (there are options if required) was a real bonus for us to disconnect with the world and connect with Savai'i/Samoa.
Our favourite spot.

Room tip: It's a relaxing place not a party resort.

Such a lovely spot with amazing snorkeling at the door. I enjoyed that it wasn't crazy busy and commercial. We had an unexpected upgrade which was lovely. The sea was warm the weather great, the staff friendly, what more could you want. Sunsets and happy hour, a great sunset fire lighting ceremony and lovely outdoor massage all added to our stay, we should have had longer here.

This is a beautiful resort, in a stunning location. Beautiful white sand and clear water. The infinity pool is a bonus.
With only 10 bungalows, the resort is peaceful and so relaxing.
Restaurant and bar on-site with yummy food and cocktails.
Kayaks and paddleboards available.
Thank you Le Lagoto

Room tip: We had Beach Bungalow #2 which was perfect for us with the kids, right beside the pool and bar. And uninterrupted views of the water
