We had a day snorkelling and absolutely loved it, swam with turtles, rays, clown fish and hundreds of other fish I'd have to look in a book to identify.

A couple of weeks later we came back to dive, and although we were a group of mixed ability, with one experienced diver, one newly qualified PADI diver, and myself doing the PADI open water course, this was no problem as everyone goes out on the same boat, and splits off accordingly.

Olaf, the instructor, looks after you very well and has plenty of interesting and funny stories to tell, as well as buckets of papaya and coconut to keep your strength up in between snorkels/dives.

The marine life you see diving is even better than that you see snorkelling, did I mention the turtles?!

If you want to learn to dive, Olaf is the best person to learn with. He is a zen master for underwater adventures. Totally cool and collected, made us feel at ease and safe in water. Him and his wife were fantastic and also all the crew who were looking after us during the dive were great. The dive from wreck to coral gardens was the highlight for me seeing majestic and graceful turtles and thousand of different fish was amazing.
Doing the cours made our trip amazing and we learned new skills.

We took our 2 younger boys out for a days snorkelling, along with my wife who is not very confident in the water. All had a great day with turtles, great coral, ship wreck and clear waters. Is a simple and low key trip to don't expect too much but is well worth doing and we would have gone again but ran out of time.
