We took our 2 younger boys out for a days snorkelling, along with my wife who is not very confident in the water. All had a great day with turtles, great coral, ship wreck and clear waters. Is a simple and low key trip to don't expect too much but is well worth doing and we would have gone again but ran out of time.

Went on a snorkelling tour with Dive Savaiii - went with 2 other friends and we were the only ones snorkelling! We paid to hire flippers but we had our own masks and snorkels already. Absolutely loved it, we had some some great guides who lead us round the sites. We saw some amazing coral reefs and hundreds of fish and 2 turtles!!
We went to 3 different sites and between each site we were given water and fresh papaya and coconut on the boat.
It took half a day but it wasn't too much (I am not a strong swimmer and I was perfectly capable of keeping up)
If you do one thing on Samoa, do this!!

It was my first time for snorkeling in a very deep sea and the experience was fantastic. My husband really enjoyed every minute and even the crew and the instructors were kind and professional

We did our PADI Open Water Diver course with Olaf (one of the owners) and were very happy from the beginning. Communication with him via email prior to our arrival was smooth and he did his best to meet our demands. Olaf is friendly, calm and patient instructor and we really appreciated his calm manners under water which make you feel relaxed, safe and comfortable. We enjoyed our course a lot. Other staff at Dive Savaii is very friendly and helpful and the equipment is well looked after. The diving in Savaii was not as beautiful as in Fiji where we went afterwards but the shipwreck is cool and the turtles are amazing.

From my very first contact with Dive Savai'i - just researching options for getting my open water scuba license through them - Olaf went above and beyond to help me.

His local knowledge and diligent approach to scuba diving made him an excellent instructor. The other staff at Dive Savai'i were also amazing - the guys seemed to be everywhere at once looking out for our needs.

Their equipment is really well looked after (especially when compared to AquaSamoa on Upolu).

The actual diving in Samoa is not going to blow your mind compared to other parts of the world, but the water is warm and the turtles are so serene, so it's still a lovely experience.
