Owners were very rude to us on trip, very demanding and we felt like we were told off by both of them, despite being amateur snorkelers and unsure of equipment and routines.
Local guides were very hospitable and showed us the wonderful clownfish and coral.
Dear karenhB75
Thank you for joining our snorkle tour and also thank you for enjoying the company of our local guides.
We as the managers are sorry that you felt offended by us or had the feeling of "beeing told off".
Unfortunately I do not remember the tour you joined in June, but I can only imagine 2 reasons why we would use "strong words" to our customers: if guests are about to damage corals (or other delicate lifeforms or tries to touch turtles) or if they are about to damage our equipment or endanger themselfs or others. We are very strickt in our rules: "no touching, no breaking, notaking".
I apologise again, and maybe one reason you felt offended might be that English language is not our mother-language - so maybe sometimes we use not the apropriate words. Sorry for that - but we are and will be very strickt in protecting the reef of the sites we visit and in ensuring the safety of our guests.
Most people who join our tours are very happy, also beginners, first time snorkelers, families with kids, advanced watersport cracks... We have all necessray equipment to make it an enjoyable trip for everyone. If you have special wishes, please tell us in advance - once the boat left, is it usually too late.
Thanks again for bringing the language-problem to our attention.

This was a highlight of our trip. Dave Savaii took as on a three dive trip incorporating a modest reef drop-off, a wreck and a coral garden. These were perfect sites for a family that is water confident. There were also scuba divers in our party. We saw turtles in the wild which was a treat. Staff competent and friendly.
My partner and I went out with dive savaii recentlyand they were fantastic! I dove, and Tina was the best possible guide; calm, safe and patient with a novice diver. Saw turtles which was my absolute dream. Would highly recommend them.
Awesome friendly German couple with a great group of Samoans that will take you on fantastic snorkelling, recreational Padi dives or formal Padi dives for people with licence! Highly recommend to everyone to visit!
Olaf runs a very reliable dive shop with safety a priority. The diving is just minutes away by boat with some great corals and a good wreck dive - all under 20m.
This was a great trip. It was 60WST each. Left at 10:30am and took 3+ hours.
We had already snorkeled off the beach where the boat launched but it was great to get out beyond the edge of the reef to see some different fish and even TURTLES!
I was surprised that the boat didn't take us that far out to see but it doesn't really need to. You travel to 3 locations, the 1st is the drop-off and we saw Nemo and a couple of cruising turtles. The 2nd was over a shipwreck, which was interesting but no fish (only a short stop this one). The 3rd was into the coral gardens which were very beautiful and full of pretty fish.
A guide escorts the group in the water and you are encouraged to snorkel in pairs for safety though we stretched this rule a little.
Our trip included both snorkelers and divers. Divers have a slightly different location structure but both groups are accommodated well within the structure of the trip.
I wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone who is into snorkeling or diving. It is really easy and fun.
