We took a visit to Wingspan for our bird crazy daughter. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt so much. Our daughter even got to hold a NZ Falcon. Well worth a visit. Thanks team. We will be back.

We visited Wingspan on the recommendation of a friend of friends on our recent visit to NZ, well worth the visit, After a very informative talk about the facility and the birds, we were introduced to a morpork, fascinating bird, then taken outside for the free flying harrier display, such awesome birds, amazing how fast they fly!!

Good park, lots of birds of different types, New Zealand Green big wood pigeon I think was the nicest, ducks and birds of prey.
But foremost the Otorohanga KIWI House indoors, and it was dark as they live in those conditions.

Such lovely staff that are passionate about what they do and are willing to share their knowledge. It is a pretty special experience to get so close to these wonderful birds. Being able to hold a falcon is definitely a highlight!
