I have been on a few trips this year but in terms of the hotel, this was one of the best. I was with 4 other young people for 3-5 days between us. For the time we visited out of season, we got the trip for a very reasonable price. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and all spoke amazing English. The plug sockets in the room were also English (however there was only 2 in the room not by the bed so charging at night was difficult). The only other fault was that there was no wifi in the rooms unless you pay and the free wifi did not even work in the lobby area so I was using my 3G throughout my stay which isn't ideal.
The food was delicious, having themed cuisine nights and plentiful breakfasts, deserts, lunch boxes and midday snacks. Always hot, always clean. The rooms were clean and spacious with a lovely sea view from the balcony. I can see why this hotel has won so many awards!
The evening entertainment was also amazing, like a cruise! Singing, dancing musicals and great costumes. There was a lot of build up for the shows with introduction advert after advert on the screen which became a bit irritating but when it finally started it was worth the wait! There is a club nearby with cheap drinks so we heard which I would imagine to be very busy in the summer season. In addition, the daytime entertainment was just as broad with archery, bowls, dancing, swimming and awards to win too. The staff put a lot of effort into their day to keep us happy despite the rain we faced on some of the days.
The location was great too. The little church behind the hotel was stunning and so authentic and memorable. 25 euros and 15 minute drive to the airport. 10 minute drive 10 euros to the old town and a further 8 euros from there to the harbour. We were not here long so we did not want to face the 40 minute walk up the hill and as this was all inclusive we had money to spare for taxis and saving that time. Going to the harbour was a must-see to avoid any cabin fever of staying in the resort for a week and being able to see the historical sights of Paphos. We were able to visit the archeological site by the harbour for free as we are students!
We had a bit of trouble one evening within the other group we went away with and the staff were so kind and nice towards us despite this. Thank you so much for your concern, help and generosity. I would truly recommend this hotel to families, couples and groups of friends. Thank you!
