My wife and I ate lunch at Nonna Elisa while staying by Lake Como. The restaurant is quite small and was a little hard to find as there is a really odd intersection just before you get to the restaurant. It does not stand alone, but is in a small row of businesses on the right side of th street.
We really enjoyed the food and the decor. I had veal stuffed with mozzarella cheese. My wife had strips of beef. For dessert, we shared an interesting dessert made from chestnuts, which are very popular in Italy in the fall. The waiter was very nice and gave great service. He spoke little English, but did his best to help us understand the Italian menu.
For the two of us, without wine, the bill was around 50€. We felt it was priced okay for the quality of the food.
