We stayed here as two families with kids. Everything was fantastic. Rooms were clean, the owner Giacomo was the best. Breakfast was rich with variety. If you are staying here, definitely but definitely have dinner as well. Amazing food for an incredibly good price. The surrounding, the views from the rooms were amazing. I would love to go back and I highly recommend this place.
The views are beautiful especially the morning with the cloud cover. This is vineyard country and you can purchase the local wine directly from the venue. You can go for walks through the area and take excellent pictures.
As far as I know we were the first family that had a Punjabi wedding at this location. Plenty of space for guests.
The staff are friendly and breakfast consists of all the usual but with the added bonus of freshly baked croissants, apple pies, tarts and a few other things. The rooms clean, plentiful and spacious.
As public transport is not going to get you there you better off taking a cab or hiring your own car. Turin is just over an hour away with the local towns only a few minutes drive. The best train station nearby is Mondovi and only about 10-15 minutes away. From here you can get to Milan, Turin within 2 hours.
This little gem is situated in the beautiful vineyards of the Langhe. We were a group of 11 staying one night after a day of wine tasting near the Barolo village. Our welcome by Giacomo was friendly and we were shown to our rooms immediately. They succeeded in renovating without loosing the old charm of the farmhouse. Rooms were clean and warm, beds very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with many local specialities and our friends from America and South Africa were treated to incredible, generous warm Italian hospitality.The early morning walk seeing the sun rise over the beautiful valleys surrounding the property was breathtaking. As we were leaving we had the pleasure of meeting Franca who speaks perfect English. I can highly recommend a stay at La Cantina and wish we could have stayed longer.

Rarely does one find an absolute Jewel of a place, with a host that is so utterly concerned about your comfort and welfare. We stayed here 5 nights, from the 19th to the 23 April 2014. Six of us. The accommodation was superb, in a MOST beautiful part of Italy. Rolling hills and vinyards and a BB that is peaceful and safe, away from maddening crowds. The host Giacomo is one of a kind....you are not going to find another host as kind or thoughtful. The restaurant is superb, local cuisine and wine produced in-house. One cannot ask for more at a price that is more than reasonable, verging on the ridiculous. What a find! Will be back in August. Ciao e grazie Giacomo!
