The hotel is in a great location taking around 10mins to walk into town. The rooms are of a good size with a sitting area with settee and chair. The beds were very comfortable and bedding changed twice in our 2 week stay. Towels were replaced daily and the room was cleaned on a daily basis and shower and toilet were left spotless. The shower area was a little strange as it was not in a separate bathroom and lacked privacy but was something you worked around. One thing that was an irritation was it only had one plug socket which was a pain with 2 women wanting to get ready in the evening. The breakfast was good and offered a great choice if you liked continental. Cooked was not as good as only had fried eggs and the bacon was very fatty. We stayed bed and breakfast and had one evening buffet in the restaurant which was just okay and the service wasnt great. The Pizza restaurant however was good although we only ate pizza is was very nice, thin, crispy and plenty of topping. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Room tip: We had side lake view which was next to main road but it was not noisy and certainly didnt disturb your sleep.

Very disappointing hotel, surrounded by a fairly busy road, so quite noisy at times. Rooms large but no tea/coffee facilities and no option to borrow a kettle, nor to buy a cup of tea/coffee outside of meal times. Food at breakfast very limited, no hot plates, orange juice awful. Dinner not a pleasurable experience, food very bland and basic. No bar to relax in and meet fellow guests. Didn't find the staff overly helpful or friendly, especially on Reception, where i was ignored twice by the manager while she chatted on the phone, and she then refused my credit card when I tried to settle my account, telling me it cost them too much in fees. It was a Mastercard, readily accepted anywhere else. Luckily, a different receptionist accepted it later that evening, without question. Sun loungers a bit uncomfortable, could do with a mattress on top. Nowhere to get a drink whilst sunbathing, we didn't feel we were encouraged or expected to spend time around the pool. The pool was quite cold, maybe to be expected in September.
Would not recommend this hotel.

A very nice hotel. Good choice of food and plenty of variety..Friendly,helpful staff. Immaculate house keeping of rooms. Towels changed daily and room thoroughly cleaned.
Short walk to Lake shore and town centre .This is a hilly region and this hotel is perfectly situated as gradient is not too taxing. Situated on a main road and on a bend you need to exercise care while crossing the road.

Nice little pool ....once you get in! Water freezing! Plenty of space on terraces for sun worshippers.

Room tip: Pool level rooms are dark

This hotel is rated 4 stars. Maybe for location to the town, it's only a short walk up a little bit of a hill.( Limone is very hilly)
4 stars maybe for the staff, they are very friendly and helpful. Service is great in the restaurant and reception is very helpful with questions about tours etc.
BUT 4 stars for food - NO. Dinner each night I would give 2 stars. I am not alone in this, any guest I talked to had the same complaint. The food.
The tour must have had complaints because she checked with different people on our second morning wether the food had improved, it hadn't.
I get the impression from other members in our tour group at a sister hotel that their dinners are no better.
My recommendation, go bed and breakfast. Then choose your own place for dinner.

Room tip: Stay away from corner rooms you could have a bad balcony

The hotel was clean, staff friendly, service good, self service breakfast good ,
but meals were very poor. Lacking in any style, taste or choice.
One pasta, one vegetable, garnished with a part torn lettuce leaf.
Our local garden centre meal on return reminded me how poor the meals were.
Not what we looked forward to.
eg 6 thin slices of ham and 3 pieces of Rocket. budget kitchen.
Other downside was the meal had to be ordered the day before.
Travelled with Travel Department. Obviously no quality check there.
Meals reminded me of the early 60's, Kitchen needs a overhaul and update.

Room tip: Don't go unless you eat some where else.
