I tried this restaurant on Sunday at lunch. This neat well furnished place has a short menu, but each and all dishes are made with the utmost care. The waiter will be happy and proud to explain what are the ingredients and the way your choice was cooked. Risotto looks to be one of the specials, but meat and vegetables were excellent as well. If you visit Lodi, a nice town 25 miles from Milan you will not regret to have booked a table here.

Right from the start we were treated as not welcome and we should have taken the hint and left but when you've stood and waited to be seated when there are places free, for about 5 minutes it sort of became a challenge! But that was our mistake as we were served last, after all the locals and were virtually last to leave. My risotto was all leftovers but I was so tired by then I was just glad to get something to eat.I was surprised my son paid the full bill but we just wanted to go after both myself and my daughter fell asleep at the table with boredom. I strongly suggest you go to one of the several restaurants in the nearby square. I will relay this information back to the friend we stayed with so she can tell her many friends, both locally and who that might come to stay in future

We eat here often because we can always guarantee good, affordable food. This young, quirky but classic restaurant in the centre of Lodi offers a twist on most classic dishes. There is always fish on offer but plenty of choice for those who are not pescatarians. We adore the risotto made with fish, or pasta with clams and courgettes, in winter there is usually some sort of braised meat with polenta and a decent glass of red to wash it down. They currently have an excellent pate on the menu which I recommend. Finally the desserts, well they are great, so make sure you save some room for a cheeky slice of Tarte Tatin or what ever is on the menu, you won't regret it!
