This was my third visit to Fazenda. The first time was amazing. The service was outstanding as was the food. Obviously I went back and took others. The second time was OK but didn't compare with the first visit. This last time(30/6/2015) was just diabolical!. The service was an absolute joke, We got 4 of the 9 dishes served to us 5 times. I had to ask for the remaining dishes to be served. The quality of the meat was terrible compared with the first visit. No one from our 5 person group had a good word to say about it. Some had come from Norway and had been really looking forward to this meal. No one from the waiting staff gave a hoot about our table and that seems to be the way that they now work. We complained to the manager who apologied and took a bottle of wine off the bill...which did help. Unfortunately this gesture was totally undone by having to wait 40mins for the bill!!!
We wont be going back and will make sure none of our clients go there either. As a 'fad' restaurant this is fine for one visit but the fad wears off. The second and third time one expects consistency, service and quality. One simply doesn't get it.
