We stayed for 4 nights and every minute was great. Situated right in the middle of olive groves made Masseria Salamina the most peaceful 4 days holiday. The owner and his family were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was super. The accommodation was clean and well laid out. We're going to make Masseria Salamina a regular place to visit and we are already planning our next visit there. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building, it's a hidden gem.....

We stayed here for a night and it was beautiful!
They have great dinner that is served onsite.
Breakfast was included but we left at 4 am to head to the airport so we couldn’t eat.
They were really kind of substitute and made us a plate for us the night before.
Room is clean and nice. Not much to do at the estate except relax and swim at the pool, eat dinner etc.

This is a beautiful place to stay or visit. Much (maybe all) of the food is grown here and is organic. I'm vegetarian and the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner had lovely options for me. The pool is gorgeous and the vibe is relaxed. A perfect chilled start to a trip to Puglia!

We spent 4 fabulous days at Masseria Salamina. The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay very special. We loved so much about this place : the ancient main building, eating breakfast in the courtyard, lounging by the pool. We also loved the cooking class with Chiara!
The only place for small improvements would be the decor of the apartments and the breakfast buffet (a selection of different types of breads would be appreciated).
We hope to return to Massaria Salamina and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Grazie à tutti!!

We stayed for 4 days at Masseria Salamina as part of a week long trip in Pugia. It is a lovely hotel. The setting is bucolic, in the middle of olive tree groves, not far from the sea, in beautiful Puglia. The grounds are lovely, with fields of vegetables, super old olive trees and fruit trees. The hotel is an amazing old family farm redone with a great sense of style, privacy, and comfort. The pool and outdoor cooking area are lovely. The staff and family owners were gracious and welcoming. breakfast and the one lunch we had were outstanding. We had a cooking class that was excellent; and learned to make focaccia, orechietti, pesto, tomato ragu. Chiara taught the class- it was unusual because of the outdoor kitchen and her attention to detain, showing us how grain was ground to make semolina flour, and her brother gave us an olive oil tasting that was great too.
They let us use their washing machine to do our laundry and were accommodating in every way. This is one of the best places we have stayed in Italy (and we come every year or so). This would be an excellent place for a wedding, or a home base to explore Puglia. Our guides used this hotel as a base camp for our exploration of the other towns (Alberobello, Matera, Polignano etc) what a great area!! We actually moved on to other hotels and wished we had just stayed here to explore Lecce.

Room Tip: all the rooms were saw were large, airy, with balconies and recently updated.
