Arriving at Masseria Brigantino gave us an instant " waauww" feeling: an ancient farmhouse surrounded by thousands of old olive trees. The masseria has been renovated with a lot of respect for its past; all the little details fit in perfectly.
Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large good bed, fridge, flatscreen (but who needs television in such a beautiful environment?), bathroom...
Breakfast was tasteful with great pastries (!).
We twice had dinner at the masseria: lovely local products, great wines served on a little terrace, under an old tree, with candlelight and soft piano music on the background... so perfect...
The gardens were stunning with beautiful little hidden corners everywhere, which offer a lot of privacy. We spent quite some time in the lovely swimming pool area with jacuzzi.
Staff was so friendly! Rosangela, the owner, is a natural: from the first moment she made us feel welcome and at home. And then there was Tino, the house cat ( every morning, with a discrete miauw, he announced breakfast was served )
We had a great, relaxing stay in this little piece of heaven !More
