“Nice place, worth us driving 15 miles rather than use our local pool”

International Swimming Pool

Cheap entry compared to other pools that are smaller. Changing rooms are "unisex" and is one massive room of small lockable cubicles. Electronic wristbands rented from reception for £1 for the touchscreen lockers (took a bit if getting used to). Small kids pool goes from 2 foot to a beach entry, has a couple of activities to keep the kids entertained and a pirate ship with two toddler slides and a proper water slide for those over 1.2m tall or so. A shallow plunge pool next, bright and airy, then took one actual main pool. At the end is another fourth pool, much smaller and usually not that busy. When we went the plunge pool was out of action so we were told room take our toddler to this side pool and had it all to ourselves! On leaving, you must ensure you use the EU locker band to "swipe" in at the turnstiles and again on the way out - otherwise the automatic wristband drop-forged won't validate your band and you'll have to queue up to get your £1 deposit back. This MUST BE IN CASH but you can pay your entry fees by card. Parking is outside, pay and display but also very reasonable. £1 will cover a swim session. Places to eat right ext door too, and a costa/Starbucks type place (I hate coffee they all blur into one for me).
The only reason I can think of to visit corby.

We took our family there are they absolutely loved it! You can book to go on the diving boards as well (at an extra cost of £2pp) there is a shallow end for the little ones and there's the other pool which is deep enough to dive in from the side - which is good fun and you can't do at most other places!

We spent great time with the family. There are dedicated areas where kids can play and dedicated lines where you can swim. Changing rooms clean. It is a shame is not closer to where we live.

This is a lovely pool and I do like how tge changing room is all cubicles with single size ones and family size ones the lockers can take time to work out but are good and saves you looking for a £1. There are a few different pools. The 20m one is meant to be heated and where babies tend to go which the one time we went it was like getting into a bath unfortunately during half term this pool isn't always open so young children have to go to the very shallow pool or the pool next to that both which seem to be cold a lot and after our last visit resulted in us catching a cold it was warmer in the changing room. It is a good pool though I will go again but in future will check timetable to make sure the pool we want is open when we want it.
