If you're a city boy, this is not the hotel for you.
Ibis Impact is the perfect location if you're seeking retreat-like peace. While it is a distance from mainstream Bangkok (Pratunam, CentralWorld), the peace and quiet you get at Ibis Impact is more than worth the stay. Price-wise, the hotel is very affordable for Bangkok standards. If you're heading in to central Bangkok, expect to pay double what you pay for Ibis.
Breakfast at the hotel is splendid. A nice spread to wake-up to. Nothing lavish, but adequate and you'll find your comforting breakfast delights to start your day.
Rooms are average, leaning towards small. But then, you're in Bangkok to stay in a hotel room? Probably not. So the size is just right for a couple, who may enjoy the vacation sleep-in. Nothing outrageous, but the price is good.
The lobby bar is a nice place to crash for drinks and evening snacks.
Good for business travellers (those with exhibitions to attend at Impact) and vacation travellers.
Staff at this hotel are all fabulous role-models that will put 5-star hotel staff to shame. The team seem casual but take keen attention to details. (Management should give them all a fat raise please!)More
