We loved our week in the Parc Hotel! On arrival we met Quentin who checked us in and let us store baggage in a locked store room. He was great at explaining the details of the hotel, food and facilities. In fact there wasn't a morning he didnt greet us at reception or an evening he wasn't working at the bar! He was great! (We tried to persuade him to come back to England!) - all the staff were really friendly and helpful! Many speak good English too which was a big bonus. Our room was always clean and a good temperature, would have been nice to maybe have an English channel that wasn't business related though. Great to have the mini fridge in the room too! Shower was lovely and the towel radiator dried out clothes really quick. Each floor had a ski locker with boot storage which meant no wet skis in the bath tub. Having never gone "all inclusive" at a ski hotel before we didn't know who breakfast/lunch would work, but we were very pleasantly surprised! There were loads of hot breakfast items and a salad/sandwich bar, as well as hot/cold drinks and pastries. They supplied you with everything you needed to make and take a pack lunch (bags, foil, condiments etc) and you just took what you wanted onto the slopes. The Hotel was a 5/10 min walk from the main gondola - but there was an outside lift that meant no stairs in ski boots! The bar and sofa rooms were clean and tidy, great places to hang out after dinner; with a coffee machine and snacks available too. We didn't use the pool or sauna - but thought the one thing this hotel was missing was a Jacuzzi which would have been the cherry on the cake. Dinner was a different cultural menu each evening, there was always a good selection of hot and cold meals, as well as desserts - the little chocolate pots were a winner for us! For extra snacking there was a convince store about 2 minutes walk from the front of the hotel which we visited for essentials. We would certainly come back here again, the staff couldn't do enough to help (especially Quentin - he deserves an extra pat on the back for dedication!) and the food was delicious!
